OUR SHEEP

We raise hair sheep at Triple H Farms.  Hair sheep do not have to be sheered, are naturally resistant to parasites, and produce a wonderfully healthy meat with far less lanolin than many wool sheep.  All of our lambs and sheep are raised with love and care. They spend their entire lives under Tennessee skies - from birth to harvest grazing on the pastures around our home. Our sheep are rotated every few days onto fresh pasture - this keeps them naturally stronger and healthier and they improve and regenerate our pastures in return. If you are interested in lamb for your freezer or livestock for your pastures, please contact us about availability.

Why Pasture Raised?

Pasture-raised sheep offer a host of benefits, both for the animals and the environment. Grazing on natural pastures ensures sheep enjoy a varied diet, leading to healthier and tastier meat richer in nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids. This farming method supports biodiversity and sustainable practices by maintaining healthy ecosystems, reducing reliance on concentrated feedlots, and minimizing environmental impacts. Choosing pasture-raised sheep products not only guarantees superior quality but also promotes animal welfare and the preservation of natural landscapes.
